Welcome to The Korean American Spine Society!

We are grateful for your interest.  KASS is dedicated to the advancement of spine care professionals through educational programs and shared collaboration.  The mission of KASS is:

• To improve the quality of scientific knowledge, patient care, and clinical practice among professionals in the field of spinal disorders.

• To be a forum for Korean American physicians and surgeons to exchange ideas and disseminate scientific knowledge regarding spine care.

• To provide educational opportunities focused on concerns specific to Korean American physicians and surgeons.

The Korean American Spine Society was founded in 2005 by Casey Lee, M.D. as an organization under the North American Spine Society (NASS).  We are proud to announce that this year KASS has entered a new phase as an independent organization.  KASS is a not-for-profit organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

In fulfilling its mission, KASS holds an annual meeting featuring a full program of scientific exhibits and instructional courses.  The annual meeting is developed by the Scientific Program Committee to enhance the capabilities of member spine professionals.  We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Annual Meeting will be held July 16-19, 2008 at the Royal Lahina Resort in Maui, Hawaii.

Further membership and meeting information can be found by clicking on the relevant links.

Thank you for your interest in the Korean American Spine Society.  Feel free to direct any inquiries to the national office.
